Pictures!

Here we are! Thomas swimming in the pool with his new best friends - floaties!! He loves them. He's a little fish. He thinks he can swim. Sadly you can't see the huge water slide right behind him. It's one of our favorite things. We all like to go down it (one parent and one child at a time!)
Charles playing by the playground at our hotel. In addition to the typical slide and play structure, there is a jungle gym, see saw, and merry-go-round (the kind you stand on while your dad pushes you around as fast as humanly possible - sweet memories). All things, ahem, outlawed (I think?) in the U.S., but sorely missed by those of us who can remember them. I'm glad my kids will experience the thrill...

Thomas on our balcony, overlooking the gardens.

I am constantly amazed by how much the boys are learning and growing. I'm sure it would be just as amazing if we were in the States, but it seems like they have grown so much. Thomas communicates fairly well now, and has a little will of his own. (He answers "yesh" or "no" when asked a question, and is quite certain about his response). His vocabulary has grown leaps and bounds. Charles has gotten more confident with swimming, talking to people, and is quite the little singer.

Tonight Daddy made his first prolonged appearance after a weekend of not feeling well. Remaining true to "daddy-ness" he made the boys an awesome fort (or a "fork," as C sweetly referred to it) and Charles was in seventh heaven, until Thomas knocked it down. Again. Oh, and again. Pretty much par for the course. So there were a lot of fork repairs being made this evening.

We have enjoyed the free shuttle from our hotel several times now. The boys and I have gone to the beach a few times and on one grocery shopping trip (I'm getting good at this, no more tears in the spice aisle for me!). What fun to get to ride on an open air bus for two little boys. We wave at people on scooters, chat with fellow hotel stay-ers, and watch for anything that might catch our fancy. We really could just ride around on the shuttle, it doesn't take much to please us, who needs the beach?

Cute, cute , cute! The boys are looking so grown up (yes, even with the floaties!) Well, I think you may be learning a lot too! I mean after all, no more tears in the spice isle...I couldn't be more proud. The boys look so happy and confident in the pictures. I'm glad Charlie is feeling better.
(I do need to ask your...ahem, grace on my last comment on your last post. I always read and re-read all your posts and the comments several times until you post something new. Pathetic, I know. None the less, the last time I wrote a comment I left a few words out here and there. While I may have sounded drunk, I was really pre-migraine, trying to get done before it became full blown.I feel better having explained that.)
Keep the pictures coming. We love seeing the boys and it would be fun to see you and Charlie too! Hugs all around.

(Sorry thats me who keeps erasing comments, I keep finding mistakes and having to repost)

Yay pictures! You cannot imagine how old the boys look to me after not seeing them for...five months I think? They are so big. Thomas especially looks like such a big-boy now! They look cute, happy, and tan. Glad you guys are having a good time and adjusting to life there.

PS we have an ultrasound on the 9th, hopefully the baby is healthy and we can find out if its a boy or girl. My instincts tell me he/she is healthy though, as I am getting plenty of kicks and movement throughout the day now! We'll keep you guys posted
