Today I...

... woke up at my new time of 5:30am
... ate approximately eight chocolate peanut clusters, ummm, make that nine.
... drank 4.5 quarts of water.
... witnessed a six-month old receive three immunization shots. Sooo far from a great way to spend two minutes.
... coached my resistant, but able-bodied five-year-old through writing "thank you".
... taught a willing, but inattentive three-year-old where the silverware goes when emptying the dishwasher.
... emptied the humidifier (but didn't clean it yet, because who really wants to clean those things, it's just one more thing to do).
... ate green beans and a salad, to counter-act the afore-mentioned nut clusters.
... washed, folded, AND put away two loads of laundry (merely a drop in the bucket, my friends, but the reward is in the fact that the laundry is already put away, there will be more tomorrow).
... paid the electric bill.
... made several Excel spreadsheets to price our recent fun spunky jewelry shipment - all kinds of wood rings and necklaces and such - not diamonds, like I might have wished.
... played Memory before dinner.
... brainstormed a name and purpose for my imaginary website that will ultimately make me a millionaire mom.
... went to bed at 9:57 (very shortly after writing this post).

look who's the supermom now! :)

i am impressed most of all by your new wake up time, which seems like an ungodly hour to me. but, maybe if i start small, i could work up to it! i'm sure it would help the mornings if i wasn't rushing around all the time...

You are brave...I manage 6-6:30, but I don't think I could handle going to bed as early as I'd have to in order to get up any earlier! How are you liking "Charlotte Mason Companion"? Funny, I just started rereading it last week. I love that book!

It's pure survival. I hate getting up that early (as well as going to bed early), but I love what it does for my day. Everything flows more smoothly for me - and the boys.

Do you use the Charlotte Mason method, Amy? I haven't started officially homeschooling, but I think that's what I'll go with. I love everything I've read so far.

Hehe Caedmon has already trained me to get up at 5:30 everyday, but I have not put it to good use yet.

Miss you guys, I hope all is well!

Did you wake up at 5:30 to eat peanut clusters? I'm totally into that! You ROCK!

you are amazing! See, I think we'd be able to measure our accomplishments so much easier if we wrote out a list every day of what we did. And then post that list on our blogs wo the world can see!! of course then everyone would stop reading our blogs. I might like to note that today I have wiped my son's nose 27 times. (and we still have 2 hrs left in his day.)
