I've been told by many that the pictures you take of your kids get less numerous with each baby that is added to the family. I will say that we haven't taken as many as we did with Charles - but frankly, that was completely and totally out of control.
However, I do find myself wanting to take a picture or video of each teeny tiny baby milestone that Daniel hits. So I guess there are less photos of Daniel at the beach or Daniel taking his bath and more photos of his development. I don't know. What I do know is that I have more of a feel for how quickly each little stage passes.
Maybe I feel more of an urgency to capture these little darting moments that fly past so quickly. With the other boys it was always, "I'll catch that on video tomorrow." And then "Oh yeah, I'll catch it tomorrow." And before I knew it, so many tomorrows had passed that the cute little thing they were doing was gone.
It could also be that since I had Thomas I got a little digital camera I can take anywhere, and it takes video too - which to my mind is the smartest invention EVER. I don't have to drag out the camcorder and make sure it's charged (which it never is) and then actually have it out when the baby decides it's time to perform.
So be patient with me. Here's another video of Daniel. He's making what I call his "cheese" face. I know, I know, every child does it to some extent, but it's still really cute...
