From now on, monthly, I will be hosting a "needlework night". The first one was Saturday and we had lots of fun! I forgot to take pics of projects, but I didn't forget to take a pic of this chocolate cake! So now you know why I host the evening. That's right, for the dessert! Lots of fun treats were shared...one of my favorite parts.
People worked on quilts and blankets and embroidery, and Kristan and her daughter learned to crochet! Next month I'll be a little more planned out and teach one form of needlework. I'm still working on a name for the evening, but it's a good time.

We have a weekly group that meets at our local quilt shop. We refer to it as our Wednesday "Sit & Sew" group.
The cake looks delicious.
