Seasons
It's starting to get hot and I am reminded how much I love that. Right now I would have to say summer is my favorite season. For sure. I would be distinctly happy if it was never anything but summer. I love swimming. I love heat. I love popsicles and ice cream and strawberries and all manner of fresh fruits and vegetables. I love watching kids running through sprinklers. I love spraying each other when you're washing the car because it's too hot not to. I love the river and the lake and boats. In fact, I wonder why we do have other seasons?
BUT...I'm pretty sure come late September I'll be saying the same thing about fall. I vaguely remember October and thinking, "when will it EVER cool down?" I like the leaves changing and hot cocoa and reading books under a blanket.
Apparently God knew our fickle humanity when he figured it all out. I'd say I'm usually ready for whatever season is next. He's amazing.

autumn is my fav. hands down. :)
I love me some summer and wouldn't mind trading two months of winter (everything after New Year's) for some extra summer.
yeah, after New Year's, what's the point of it?
I love it too! love the nostalgia that summer brings with it too. late night walks and swims, playing guitar by the lake, pool parties and movie nights, camping, playing cards & eating smores. good times.
i do enjoy fall, until November and the holidays take over and everything feels chaotic.
