While we were out getting pampered, Charlie and Andrew (Monica's husband, who came home from work at around 5) took the kids to see this:
When Charlie drove by earlier in the day all three boats were burning at the same time, and there were about 1,000 people stopped to check out the scene.
Question: Why are three boats burning in the harbor?
Possibility #1: They were all close together when one caught fire, then the other two caught fire. They were then moved apart to burn more safely.
Possibility #2: Maybe it was some kind of "control" burn. They burn garbage here all the time, was this the result of a lot of garbage on the boats?
Possibility #3: They were all infested with rabid rats, so the owners decided to burn them.
This is a question I may never be able to answer. There was also a nice sunset that evening.
I saw this video and was reminded about how shaggy my little guys are looking. Charles is a bit of a 70's flashback; in his orange tank top with blue ribbing, and his hair poking randomly out of his hat (which is now too small, but he can't seem to let it go).
Sooo, without further ado, we now present to you our two new boys...

Interesting pictures of the boats, great pictures of the boys! They look so cute with their new haircuts!! I must confess, when I watched the video, they were cute in that too with their long hair. Have a terrific day! We love you. Thanks for the pictures.
aubrey says hi, she liked watching the video of her friends and seeing their pictures on your blog. She says she misses her friends, and Dave and I miss our friends too!
The pictures of the boys are very cute, I think they are cute with long or short hair. :) Thanks for sharing the pictures and video.
love us
how did Charlie do the video? Is it on his camera or his cell phone?
I would personally choose the rat reason for burning the boat, but rats can swim, right?
What about burning the boats to get the insurance money as a fourth option? :)
Mmmm, I don't know if they have insurance on boats here. Maybe rats can swim, but at least a few would die in the fire, right?
The video was taken on our camera, they don't turn out with amazing quality, but they're fun and easy to take. (even I can do it!)
