It's birthday month at our house, with three out of four of us within two weeks of each other. In addition, Charlie's niece's birthday is the same day as his, his mom's is the day after, Father's Day is usually the same week, and another niece is later in the month. (I just learned something vital with spellcheck: I have apparently been spelling "niece" incorrectly my whole life).
Anyway, our month is full, especially when we're in the States. So yesterday was my birthday, tomorrow is Charlie's, and Thomas' was last week. I ordered a cake for my and Charlie's birthdays and we enjoyed it thoroughly this evening.
This is my very first video, taken on my very first digital camera. It is short...as in, "what was that? was someone singing?", but it's my son, and Charlie was sure that at least our moms would love to watch it. I myself am pretty excited about getting this far with downloading it to the correct website (I hope?). So here goes...
What service, he sings AND blows out your candle. Be ready for more videos now that I'm a pro.
My birthday was great! I got a special strawberry tart and donuts for breakfast, which was especially deserved since I spent the first part of the week in bed with a stomach flu. Now I'm better and ready for food. At the end of a wonderful day my husband even bought me TWO girl movies and WATCHED one with me...it doesn't get better than that.
Incidentally, if you spent any of your life in the 80's you should watch Music and Lyrics. It's definitely light-hearted and entertaining, with an amusing look at a couple different types of music. Plus, Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore! Perfect!

I am afraid we will have to add another nephew to the big June birthday month (we are predicting the 22nd or 23rd)....unless he decides to wait til July, in which case this mommy won't be very happy. :)
