Charlie remembers reading in some guidebook or other that there aren't any snakes in Bali. We now know not to trust THAT book.Charlie saw this guy on his way to work one day...yikes. The people told him the snake is like a python, only it's got a poisonous bite.
I would like to stress that this is not where we live. It's a ways away up in the hills. (Is that a legitimate phrase? "a ways away"?)
See how the snake looks REALLY fat in the second picture? That's the pig he ate before this man killed him.
So, there are snakes here, though I've never seen one. Let's keep it that way.

Ewww! Snakes! Reptiles and I are not friends. Ok well except for turtles. I adore turtles.

My word! Now that's a snake! Don't believe I've ever seen a snake quite that big. Occasionally, I get a snake in my garden. Thankfully, it's nothing like that!
