...in which we find that the baby seems perilously close to falling out every time I get up to walk somewhere.
Less than three weeks to go! I was more than ready for both Charles and Thomas to come into this world. And I am very excited to see this little guy. But I think that now I have a slightly different perspective. Once I have him, he'll be a newborn for a few weeks, and then he'll be a tiny baby, then a crawler, a walker, a one-year-old, two-year-old, three-year-old - and all of a sudden he'll be eighteen or something insane like that!!!
So I'm not as desperate to have this baby as I was with the older two. Yes, I look forward to being able to sleep on my tummy again (or just sleep again, which I realize won't be happening for the next few months at least). Yes, I look forward to being able to pick up Charles and Thomas, to running, to not being huge and unwieldy, to being able to paint my own toenails. But I also already feel nostalgic about the tiny baby he'll be for oh-so-short a time.

hello-
got the comment on my blog. Yes, I am pregnant and due in september, I am 27 weeks along with my first, a little boy. I have been showing for quite awhile now, actually. I am going into my 7th month. I know what you mean about people you can't even tell are pregnant! I love the belly though! I also am going to miss my maternity clothes because I think I dress better now that I am pregnant! But, who knows, depending I may still need maternity clothes if I don't lose the weight LOL
I enjoy reading your blog! Never quite sure what to say since I'm not pregnant nor have kids. =) I hope you have a great day today!
i remember having a similar feeling when my time got close...realizing how much easier it is to take care of the kid *inside* vs. outside. but then, the bladder kicking would take over, and i would say "get out"! :)
won't be long now...
I am happy you are almost able to sleep on your stomach and not have a list of other UNMENTIONABLE problems!!! I can't believe you'll be the mommy of 3 children -- oh, I am SO glad you are doing this before me! Thank you for being brave and welcome to the gift of life in your growing family. We love you and pray for your pregnancy every day.
Love,
the Ortega Family
