Is that cheating??

JenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27390550.post-69329402310836072652007-05-23T17:45:00.000-07:002007-05-23T17:45:00.000-07:00I enjoyed "A Tale of Two Cities", but don't think ...I enjoyed "A Tale of Two Cities", but don't think I understood everything that was mentioned in it. Like, I know at one point the storming of the Bastille occurred, but I didn't know that until someone else told me. Dickens has a way of being verrry descriptive, so descriptive that it's hard to grasp what he's talking about sometimes.Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02537102298208475919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27390550.post-35782164761439144832007-05-23T15:59:00.000-07:002007-05-23T15:59:00.000-07:00Hi Christy,I haven't read either of the books you ...Hi Christy,

I haven't read either of the books you mentioned, but I've seen the musical and the movie. I think I'll need to read the books as I usually enjoy them more than the movie anyway. At the moment, I'm still struggling through Dickens. Actually, I must confess that I've taken a bit of a break from him to regain my sanity. I think I'll try again after my trip to the U.S. I don't think A Tale of Two Cities will help me enjoy my 14 hour flight! Thanks for keeping up your blog. I love reading about your life in Bali!

JenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27390550.post-32598144634515323312007-05-23T06:43:00.000-07:002007-05-23T06:43:00.000-07:00Hi there! I'll definitely read the book you mentioned (the second one), as soon as school's out. It seems funny, you're winding down your day, and ours is just starting. Any more pictures??? It's fun to see what life is like in Bali, and even more fun to see you guys and the boys. Charles looks so grown -up. Gotta go. Love to you all, and sweet dreams!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
